ISTP Tritypes

Post your tritypes, if you know them, or what you think your tritype may be. If you don't agree with tritype, say so too, and just post your enneatype. If you don't agree with Enneagram, post a troll face or say why. (Oh, our resident non-ISTPs are welcome and encouraged to post as well).

Just to get some discussion going, and see how similar or different our enneatypes are. The most common enneatypes I've seen for ISTPs are 5, 6, and 9, with 8, 7, and 3 as close seconds. I think 1, 4, and 2 are more rare. I rarely, if ever, see a core-4 or core-2 ISTP.

Mine is 5w6 3w4 8w9, although I have fluctuated between that and 539 often. But I recently changed my stacking from sp/so to so/sp, and I think I was attributing 9-ish traits to my so traits. So I'm more confident in my 538 typing now.

I had settled on 3w4 9w1 6w5 but I have recently been looking at myself as 8w9 instead of 9w1. I'm definitely 3w4 as my core type.

Took a few tests yesterday actually. Coincidental.

Conflicting results: Did not get 6 once, but got 5 and 7 several times.
I can't remember the other "tritypes" or whatever...don't really care.

I'm 9w8 7w8 4w5, which means I'm too 8 for the 9s and too 9 for the 8s.

Yes I used to think 6w5 was my core type - and it's still in my tritype - but I realize my core type is definitely a 3w4 now. Tests just don't do it. You need a detailed questionnaire and others knowledgeable about Enneagram to help, plus reading about the different types.
